A planned suburb between water and bush
Bonnet Bay is one of the Shire's later planned suburbs, tucked into a pocket on the Woronora River where the water meets the bushland, between Como and Jannali. It's a quiet, self-contained community of homes from the 1970s and 80s, and its setting gives it a foot in two of the Shire's roof stories at once — riverside humidity on one hand, and bushland leaf litter from the surrounding reserves on the other.
We work Bonnet Bay's streets and account for both. A free inspection is where we start. Call (02) 9538 7456.
Humidity, litter and roofs of an age
Sitting against the river and the bush, Bonnet Bay keeps gutters damp and full — corrosion working on the metal, leaf and bark choking the flow. The suburb's 1970s–80s tile roofs are also reaching the age where mortar and coatings give out. We tend to look at the whole picture here: restoring or repairing the roof, and sorting the gutters so the system actually sheds water through the wet seasons.
Where we help in Bonnet Bay
- Roof restoration — for the suburb's ageing tile roofs.
- Gutter guard — for the riverside, bush-fringed gutters.
All work is carried out by licensed and insured contractors with a workmanship warranty on the completed job.
Nearby areas we cover
We also serve neighbouring Como, Jannali and Oyster Bay, and the wider Sutherland Shire.
